Hello, just tried to set up Site Kit to my WordPress page. Says:

/Connect your Google account to Site Kit
Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site. To use Site Kit as well, sign in with your Google account which has access to Google services for this site (e.g. Google Analytics). Once you complete the 3 setup steps, you’ll see stats from all activated Google products./

When I hit Sign in, it gives me this:

/The request to the authentication proxy has failed with an error: invalid ‘site_id’ or ‘site_secret’ Get help./

I find no instructions to act on this message … Please advise.
    Thank you!

Hi @krisleinatamm79 Thanks for opening a support topic. The first message you are seeing is explaining that an admin account different to yours has already set up Site Kit with a Google account and connected properties that you don’t have access to. If this was not you who set this up then you can request to the admin that they grant your Google account permissions which should then allow you to connect Site Kit with your admin account.

If the previous admin that set this up is no longer involved with the website then you can try a Site kit reset. This will reset Site Kit for all other admins that have configured it so keep this in mind.

If neither of these options work for you then let me know and we can perform some troubleshooting to try and find the cause of why this may be happening.

Hi Adam, I am facing the same issue but my issue wasn’t resolved. I even created a new user with the same email address that I used to connect with analytics manually but my site kit still shows the same error.
