Starting in July, our Google Search Console has started giving us errors for a lot of our products. We have these two errors:

    Missing field “ratingValue”

Items with this issue are invalid. Invalid items are not eligible for Google Search’s rich results

    LEARN MORE

Either “ratingCount” or “reviewCount” should be specified

Items with this issue are invalid. Invalid items are not eligible for Google Search’s rich results

    LEARN MORE

They are showing for what looks like all of our products.

SEMRush is showing these same errors as well as this one:

    structured data items?are invalid
    shippingDetails.deliveryTime

A value for the shippingDetails.deliveryTime field is required for a nested Offer.

Am I missing an easy solution to these errors? Googling and searching hasn’t shown anyone else getting these errors.

  • Hi @ashtonsanders

The “ratingValue”, “ratingCount”, and “reviewCount” errors are linked to your product reviews. If you don’t have any reviews for your products or if the reviews are not properly configured, Google may not be able to find these values, hence the error.

Check your product data to make sure that either the “ratingCount” or “reviewCount” property is correctly specified in the structured data markup, and ensure that each product on your website has a valid count of ratings or reviews specified.

If you don’t have any reviews yet, you might want to encourage your customers to leave reviews for your products, or disable showing it until you had enough reviews.

SEMRush is showing these same errors as well

The error message you’re seeing suggests that the shippingDetails.deliveryTime field is missing for a nested offer in your structured data,

The structured data for a product in WooCommerce is usually generated by your theme or an SEO plugin you might be using, like Yoast SEO. If you’re using such a plugin, please check its settings to make sure you’ve filled out all the necessary fields related to shipping details.

    Cheers,
