Invalid username/password

Hi,
I’ve installed SendGrid and keep getting the “Invalid username/password” when I update my settings for the Plugin (either using API or SMTP).
I have sent an email using the accounts details using this https://api.sendgrid.com/api/mail.send.json, and also connected using telnet and verified the username and password as suggested here: https://support.sendgrid.com/hc/en-us/articles/200182038-Testing-your-connectivity-to-Sendgrid-s-SMTP-relay-using-Telnet.
I’m also using an account I created manually and not the main user account, as suggested in this article: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/invalid-usernamepassword-1?replies=2.
Any help would be appreciated.
