INVALID_PARAMETER_SYNTAX The value of a field does not conform to the expected format.

This is the message a customer would see if they missed some required fields such as Name and/or Email

While the message in itself is corrrect it may be troubling or confusing to some users. Is it possible to change the wording to something more user friendly? For instance something more direct and simplistic

Please fill in the required field First Name.

If so please let me know where I would go to change that. Thank you

This is related to two separate open issues. One of them is about PayPal requiring an email address to create the order: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/issues/535
If you apply this one-line change, then the error should no longer be displayed when the user forgets to provide an email address: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/pull/536/commits/6d755d44a81fcfaf20c75cedf2416853ac52bb20

But the more important issue to improve the entire checkout flow is this one: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/issues/513
This it will eventually cause the WooCommerce checkout form fields to be properly validated before any data is sent to PayPal in the first place. In that case, the buyer would get to see an actual user-friendly error message as you suggested.

It was working similar to this in the past, but we had to change the order of validation as a temporary workaround to prevent compatibility issues. This will be addressed as soon as possible though.

Same problem here. INVALID_PARAMETER_SYNTAX Message when the user types his/her email address wrong.
