I am using WooCommerce 2.2.2 and I have enabled Inventory in the general settings as well as the Product itself.

When I test a free product (ie: no need to go to PayPal), inventory works fine.

As soon as I opt to pay through PayPal, the order gets processed correctly, the funds get transferred and the customer receives the email fine. The Order gets tagged as Completed. But the Stock Control number remains the same.

I’ve noticed that the customer provided me with an email address of their PayPal account that is Personal (ie: not a Business Account). Could this cause the problem?

I’ve also noticed that the call to:

    https://websitename.com.au/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal

    returns

    PayPal IPN Request Failure

  • I have the same problem.

Paypal orders getting back with a validation failure:

“Validation error: PayPal IPN response from a different email address ([email protected]). Order status changed from pending to on-hold.”

    in my langues:

Valideringsfejl: PayPal IPN-svar fra en anden e-mail-adresse ([email protected]). Ordrestatus ?ndret fra Afventer betaling til P? Hold.

Does anyone have a fix for this? getting the same error.

    I found the problem.

The client had setup a Personal PayPal account. Once they upgraded to a Business PayPal account, the problem was resolved.
