• Hello.
I’m having an issue with inventory numbers not changing after certain orders. I’m using the Gold Cart and using Paypal Pro 2.0 for my payment gateway (so CC# is entered on my site).

What seems to be happening is if someone enters an incorrect CC# or some other information that rejects the order. The system creates an “Incomplete Sale” (with an order number), but then redirects the user to try again. Then when they successfully enter the correct information and checkout the system creates an “Accepted Payment” order (with a different order number). At this point the inventory is not updated.

However if a user completes the checkout successfully the first time and it just creates an “Accepted Payment” order. The inventory does update correctly.

    Using Cart Version 3.8.12.1
    Gold Cart Version 2.9.7

    Any ideas?
    Thanks for any help.

    Bumb. Happened again this week.
It doesn’t properly update the stock if the order is at first denied, and then completed right after by the same user. Orders that are set as Incomplete and then immediately followed by an Accepted Payment order (different order #) by the same person, the Accepted Payment order does not adjust stock.

Could this have anything to do with the stock being reserved while it is in their cart?

I’ve tried different themes, deactivating plugins and nothing is fixing it. Seems to have been an issue since 3.8.5.

    Thanks for any help.
