    Hi @wpnov1 ,

I checked the screenshot you sent, and it seems there’s a conflicting plugin or theme on your site.

First, make sure that WordPress, all the plugins and your active theme are up to date. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, then please conduct a conflict test as outlined here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let me know how that goes.

    Hi Ashish,

Thank you for your response. I followed the instruction that you shared.

First I back up my site
Then I changed my child theme to the default wordpress theme – nothing change
Then I start to deactivate all of my plugins – nothing change

See documentation of the steps here

    Hi @wpnov1,

Thanks for trying those steps; I’m curious, did you disable WooCommerce as well when testing if Blocks would work with plugins disabled?

It seems like Blocks are broken on regular pages which might hint at a core WordPress problem – what happens if you disable *all* plugins, including WooCommerce? Still broken?

I believed I did and it still did not help.
Then I tried following this instruction below from https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/
which then causes admin login issue….which is more troubling than the broken blocks issue. I have not put anymore effort into this as I am afraid of messing up my site.

Reset your plugins folder via FTP or the file manager provided in your host’s control panel. This method preserves plugin options but requires plugins be manually reactivated.

Via FTP or your host’s file manager, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
Login to your WordPress administration plugins page (/wp-admin/plugins.php) – this will disable any plugin that is “missing”.
Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename “plugins.hold” back to “plugins”

    Hey @wpnov1,

I would suggest making a staging copy of your site and doing the tests there, as that is a much better way to troubleshoot issues like this, without fear of breaking your site. If aren’t sure how to create a staging site, I would suggest contacting your host, as most hosting companies are able to assist with this. If your host cannot create a staging site for you, there are several free plugins here on .org that can achieve this as well- like the WP Staging plugin.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any further questions!
