    Hi

    I’m trying to access the settings of Solid Security plugin and a banner asking me to help out by passing on information appears and no matter what i press it will not disappear.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

    It looks like the issue is coming from another plugin under our product umbrella. Here’s what you need to do:

    1. disabled The Events Calendar.

    2. Go to Security > Settings. The prompt should display, then accept the terms

    3. Re-activated The Events Calendar.

    I tried what you suggested and didn’t work/ The banner will not disappear.

    I tried deactivating Tickets and having Event Calendar active and i got a different banner which wouldn’t disappear either.

    On a side not (might be related) I am unable to migrate your events to the new data storage system. It sticks at 0. I tried the troubleshooting suggestions in the Learn more page.

    I’m glad you brought this to our attention, I can see how this issue impacts your ability to use Solid Security.

    There’s an open bug ticket (BTRIA-2239) that addresses this issue and I’ve included your specific use case in it to communicate it to our team.

    We prioritize bugs by taking into consideration the number of users impacted as well as how the bug impacts one’s ability to run an event/sell tickets. I don’t have a specific timeline as to when this issue will be resolved, but trust that our team is aware. Our team communicates updates and bug fixes in our newsletter and via our changelog.

    A workaround for this is to add this code via Code Snippets or similar plugin.
    add_filter( 'tec_common_telemetry_show_optin_modal', '__return_false' );
