In Users sub-menu “Invite Users” option is missing.
I have the latest version of the WP and hosting it on Hostgator servers. The URL is https://www.dvvlc.com
    Lost 2 days searching.
I need to give access to the private posts for all registered users.
Can’t use the help topics, as the option is missing on my sidebar.
Tried even to place the post on a private page, but you can access it through the posts list if the post was not marked private, and if it is marked private – no one except admin or editor can see it.
    Please help.
    Thank you,
    Ash.

  • There’s this option now that has Add Users. Do you mean add users?

Add users just adds another user, but this will not give the user permission yo view private posts. The way it was explained in the help files, invite users gives you a choice of private posts to link to a user that they can read. I will be happy to use any other tool that will let me to grant a view permission to a subscriber. I will need also that the subscriber will be able to comment the post.

So far the “Advanced Access Manager” did the job. Would be better to have a user manual, but most of the plugins do not have that. If someone uses the “Advanced Access Manager” just remember, that the buttons on the bottom will reset the “Capabilities” to the default group levels. To edit you must choose the user on the right of the table, setup the permissions and press “save” button.
