Invoice address missing in packing slip after update

It was actually a bug (YMMV, of course) in the 2.2.4 version that was fixed in 2.2.6. The setting is “Display shipping address if different from billing address”, but it would even perform the address comparison if there wasn’t any shipping address at all, which would give unexpected results (for example showing “N/A” for the shipping address in the invoice when it wouldn’t need to display it at all). That bug was fixed but this also meant that for shops that don’t collect shipping addresses but still want to print a packing slip with an address, it wouldn’t show any address (no shippping address being available), which I think is what happens on your site too.

I understand that may not be ideal either, so I have amended this by adding a fallback to the billing address on the packing slip, so that it will not show ‘N/A’ when there is a billing address for the order.

The update with this fix (2.2.7) will be released this monday.

That’s exactly what happened. Unfortunately we don’t use any shipping addresses in the shop. We use the shop for booking requests and set it to “virtual”.

So it always shows “N/A” where the shipping address should be. Is there any way to use the version 2.2.7 without the “N/A”, but displaying the billing address instead?

Are you saying the solution in 2.2.7 (with a fallback to the billing address being used for the shipping address) is not really what you are after? Version 2.2.7 will not print N/A if there’s a billing address, but it will not print the billing address in the second column like it used to (it will print it where the shipping address would normally be).
