    Hey Everyone,

I am using Quickbooks “Connect Plug-in” to sync my Orders with my QBO account.

It’s a bit weird. if it syncs an order, it will not update it. Which means if I make a sale, and update it, that information won’t transfer over to QBO.

for the most part, I have found a work around for this. The one sticking point is any potential refunds I do. Since WOO by default just updates existing invoices opposed to making a new invoice for the return

is there anyway to have Woo commerce make an brand new invoice for returns, opposed to simply updating the original sale?

    Hi @timbows,

Thank you for your message. I understand your requirement to have a separate refund invoice (or a credit note!). By default, WooCommerce doesn’t have this option, but a quick Google Search can help you find lots of options to achieve this functionality! I also found this Quickbooks Integration for WooCommerce extension, which seems to support what you need and much more!

If you’d like something more personalized, I would recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce: https://developer.woocommerce.com/.

Additionally, the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack: https://woocommerce.com/community-slack/. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

I hope this helps so far!

    All the best,
    Omar

    Thanks,

I will take look at the credit note. I suspect that is more for giving clients a store credit, whereas I want to refund them; I just need an invoice that reflects it.

Under no circumstances will I EVER do business with wpswings again. I bought their subscription plug-in, and It didn’t work. I spent weeks working with their “support team”. Skipping over the fact they demanded my admin user name, password and ftp credentials; they couldn’t make it work, and they refused to give me a refund. I rather punch everything in by hand, then even consider giving them a penny more of my money. I HIGH suggest anyone considering working with them… NOT TO. Read the reviews, preferable the low star ones left by people who have active stores.
