    only offer payment via paypal and stripe. Unfortunately, customers manage to generate an order 3 times until the last invoice has the status paid. Unfortunately, the unpaid bills also get numbers, which is a problem for the accounting department. What can I do so that only one invoice number is assigned if the invoice has been paid.

    All invoices need a number hence why we generate one even for unpaid invoices.

    Usually, GetPaid generates a single invoice then updates it when the customer updates their cart etc.

    Let us know your checkout process so that we can work out why several invoices get generated. If possible, include a link to your checkout page.
