Invoice number not matching order number

    Is it logic at all to have the same numbers for orders and invoices?

    In practice it can happen that order nr. 2 is being shipped before order nr. 1 and therefor order nr. 2 should get invoice nr. 1 and vice versa.

    Hello Thebykov,
    Monique is right, any link between order numbers could have unwanted side effects. See this thread for more information (and a workaround if you really want to use the order numbers a invoice number). Hope that helps!
