Invoice Numbers Issue

How did you tried to delete those Invoice numbers manually? From the order page Document data and clicking the document trash icon?

No, I am not using any of those.

I read your first message again, and I wonder if this issue is related with your Allow My Account invoice download setting. Could you please check which option you have selected there? This setting is located under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice.

What happened is, the plugin generated the same invoice number for new order invoice. Have a look at these screenshots.

That could explain why the numbers were created for old orders. If those orders have the Delivered order status, but they do not had a PDF invoices, the users can create a PDF document from their My account page.

My recommendation is to select Only when an invoice is already created/emailed, so your customers can download only existing PDF invoices, avoiding letting them create PDF invoices by themselves.

Thanks for the solution. I will change those settings and will see if the issue persists in upcoming orders. But I feel this is strange, like even if they create, invoice, numbers should not be the same, right?

The number sequence follows the value you have set in the Next invoice number setting, therefore, if a customer created a PDF invoice for an old order, it will take the next invoice number, no matter if the order was placed long time ago.

I got your point, what I mean is it should not take the same invoice number. And this is the scenario here if you got it correct.

The screenshots I have shared are of different orders with different dates but with the same invoice number. As per the logic you mentioned, the plugin should have assigned the next invoice number. But it failed in my case.
