Invoice pdf is missing a lot of data when attached to e-mail

    Hi,

I am using Booster Plus for WooCommerce Version 7.1.3

In the PDF invoices & packing slips section, I have set in the Documents Options section, in the invoice section, that the invoice must be created when the order has the status: Processing. This is the standard status for new orders.
In the same PDF invoices & packing slips section, I also have set in the Email Options section, in the invoice section, that the invoice must be attached en send when the order has the same status: Processing.

So when I place an test order I get the order in my mailbox with the invoice .pdf attached, great! But when I open the invoice .pdf many details are missing…

– [wcj_invoice_date]
– [wcj_order_number]
– [wcj_order_date]
– [wcj_order_payment_method]
– [wcj_order_shipping_method]
– [wcj_order_total_fees]
– [wcj_order_shipping_price]
– [wcj_order_total]
– [wcj_order_total_tax hide_if_zero="no"]
– [wcj_order_total_excl_tax]

If I go the Woocommerce dashboard > orders and open this order and click on the invoice, download it and open it, all the data from above is there…

So, why is all the data missing in the .pdf in the mail, but not in the woocommerce dashboard?
Is the ordermail send to soon? Is the ordermail send before the invoice .pdf is created?

How can I fix this?

    I am having same issue with pdf’s – its not the individual websites its the plugin as its happening on multiple websites – they ticked my ticket as resolved even thou it isn’t. Same as yours

    Hi @dwnl,

    I debugged the issue on our multiple setups but couldn’t find any issue.

    But I make a quick fix for you. Can you find the attached file and replace it with the given path?

    File: class-wcj-orders-shortcodes.php
    Path: wp-content/plugins/booster-for-woocommerce/includes/shortcodes/class-wcj-orders-shortcodes.php

    Can you please replace the above file and review whether the issue is fixed or not?

    Thanks for trying to help us!
    I have downloaded your file and tested it, but the problem is still there….
    Still missing details in the .pdf attached to the order in the mail.

    Hi @dwnl,

    If possible can you please try to “Reset settings” from booster settings. This could help you to detect the problem. Also, before resetting everything you can export the existing settings.

    @gravid7 that does not work, and you know that.

    This is a problem that exist for a long time now and not only with me.
    You can test all of this yourself, and you ask me to reset the plugin?
    You know that does not work.
    Why don’t you give us some good support and solve the problem?

    I think the order mail is sent too soon. The order mail is sent before the invoice.pdf is created. Why don’t you help us?

    @dwnl if you are still experiencing this issue the following setting fixed the problem for me:
    Booster > Plugins > Emails & Misc. > General > Shortcodes Options:
    Enable “Booster’s order shortcodes display forcefully”
