    Hi,

    The methods available to set up the firewall depend on your host’s configuration — in php.ini, you can remove the section between the “Wordfence WAF” and “END Wordfence WAF” sections. (If you added the line manually, just remove the same line.)

    If your php.ini has no other settings aside from that added by Wordfence, your host may be configured to use only the php.ini in your site’s directory, overriding the server-wide php.ini file — in that case, removing the site’s php.ini should work, but do not remove it if it contains other settings from your host.
