• Hi,
I am a wordpress developer. As a matter of practice, I have always installed wordpress on an ip address, develop the site, offer it to the customer for inspection and finally when it is ready to go online, I point the domain to the ip address (“A” records).

However, once the site goes alive, I have to check every link and change the links from https://70.87.136.244/~f0de89dje to https://www.mydomain.com.
Some helpful person has suggested using the “Search and Rewplace” plugin to do this. It takes me over an hour to check and verify all the links.

Is there a better way of doing this?

    I appreciate your help.

    Mohan
