Not sure if this is a PHP 7.4 thing or not.

I have one install on php 7.3 that works great and the other on 7.4 not working..

I enabled Whitelist login IP address
    – added my ip address

Then turned on my VPN to a different location and tested.. However I was able to reach my “newly” changed admin login page.. ?

Anyone else having problems here ? THANKS

    Hi,

Just to confirm your theory, can you change back to PHP 7.3 in the site that whitelist is not working. Then carry out a test. Let me know what happens.

    Thank you

Yep – it appears that php 7.4 ignores the .htaccess rules..

Hi, can you provide some information about your server’s specs? And who is your host?

    Thank you

WPENGINE – I guess we can add rules via Nginx..

Anyway to help or create this NGINX rules ? As they are different from the .htaccess rules

    THANKS!

All features except those involving .htaccess rules should work ok in an Nginx server. AIOWPS currently only supports Apache-type servers for the features which need to write .htaccess directives – eg, Firewall features, Blacklist feature etc

    Thank you

I also have this setting in my VPS

    Versión de WP : 5.4.2
    WPMU: No
