• After a fix to WordPress (WPML requiring RAM and WordPress memory increase up to 512M) the directory in which are site is in became server error 500 to me, but strangely enough not to many other users.
Using a VPN changer I am able to see the site just fine. Checked everything, but just cannot find the issue.

Anyone has any ideas I could attempt?

  • Hi,
There could be many possible issue behind this.
You can try these two things:
    1. Clear your cache and try again
    2. You IP might have been blacklisted, Try Going to your cpanel-> IP Blocker and check for blocked IPs

Thanks for the suggestion Chirag, unfortunately it didn’t work.
We decided to change to another server provider. Upon setup I could see the site just fine, but right after doing the memory increase again, the site has become server error 500 to me, while other users can view this site. Again I can only view the site with VPN. So we’re having the exact same problem once again.

    Any other ideas?
