    I read some previous thread but none seem to address my issue. My various valid readers and myself are getting this message below.

    I know how to whitelist IP address. THE PROBLEM IS THE ABOVE IP IS NOT MINE. Even though it shows up as my error. When I checked the above IP, it’s from china. This is why I don’t what to whitelist this ip and think there is some sort of hack with jetpack brute protect that the hackers are using to fool is to whitelist its IP address so we invite them to our site

    I hope I am wrong and really hope someone from jet pack can help fix this soon. Thanks!!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Could you try to update to the most recent version of Jetpack? That message will be replaced by a simple math question if your IP is flagged.

    Do you use a caching plugin or service on your site? If so, could you try to deactivate it, and see if it helps? It could be that you get a cached version of the log in page after someone with that IP tried to log in and was flagged.

    I’m having the same issue. The problem is we have a redirect on the wp-admin / Login page to a front-end theme login page and it’s circular. I can’t even login to disable the cache.

    Update: I was able through SSH delete the cache and I am able to login.
