I constantly get this IP blocked:

    User IP: 54.86.175.16
    User hostname: ec2-54-86-175-16.compute-1.amazonaws.com
    User location: Ashburn, United States

I have not whitelisted it since I have no idea who is this IP from, it says Amazon, BUT looks more like Amazon servers rented by someone.

I currently have it block for 2 hours but it keeps coming once in a while. Recommendations?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @rickyprice,

If you reference the IP in Wordfence > Live Traffic what’s the reason it’s getting blocked for? If you’re able to, can you please share a screenshot of the expanded details so we can get a better idea of what’s happening?

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @rickyprice,

It looks like it’s a crawler that’s crawling the site to quickly and getting blocked for it. The feature that controls this is Rate Limiting. I can’t find any malicious reports on the IP, so I think it’s legitimate. If you’re getting other IPs blocked for the same reason you might adjust your settings. But if this is the only one it might just be crawling too aggressively, resulting in the blocks.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

Ok I will whitelist the ip. Rather keep the limiting as it is.

    Hey @rickyprice,

    That sounds like a plan.

Please let us know if anything else comes up.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
