Cloudflare has a new feature for WordPress called Automatic Platform Optimization to improve speed, etc.
    https://blog.cloudflare.com/automatic-platform-optimizations-starting-with-wordpress/

Since enabling this feature, I notice that the all IPs detected by Wordfence are the same from a Cloudflare server. I’ve verified that when I turn on Development Mode and bypass Cloudflare cache, Wordfence can detect IP correctly.

Are you experiencing the same? How can I have Wordfence detect IPs correctly with APO enabled?

    Thanks

And yes I have “”CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header” option selected for IP Detection

Hello @vuster and thanks for reaching out to us!

We contacted Cloudflare and they’re looking at fixing CF-Connecting-IP, since it isn’t showing the correct visitor IP.

We recommend turning off the new Cloudflare APO feature temporarily. You should be able to turn it on again after the issue is fixed, but we haven’t heard an estimate on when that will be yet.

I will update you when I get more information!

    Thanks!

Looks like Cloudflare is hoping to have this resolved by Wednesday according to their support forum.

Thanks for your patience and support!
