    Hi

I am facing a peculiar problem and am not sure if it is due to Wordfence. I am using Wordfence on my site. I earlier had blocked internal traffic on my site by making filters in the google analytics admin. I had blocked the ip addresses for my home and office network. I have now deleted all the filters (I deleted them yesterday) however to my dismay when I now access my site (I am able to access my site), Google Analytics still does not show my visit and I am unable to test event triggers, etc.

Is there any way wordfence could be responsible for this? I do not remember having entered any ip addresses in wordfence.

    Thanks

  • Hey @mjaitly123,

What message are you receiving when trying to log in?

Can you please try manually disabling Wordfence to see if it’s contributing to it? You can do this by renaming the Wordfence plugin directory to something like wordfence.bak using sFTP or your hosting control panel. It’s located in wp-content > plugins.

Please let me know what you find.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hi

thanks for your reply. I tested with opera and Mozilla browsers and it seems to be showing my visits. Only when I access the site on chrome that my visits do not show.

Any idea why this can happen?

    Thanks

    Hey @mjaitly123,

If you visit Wordfence > Live Traffic does it show your visits?

You might try disabling all browser extensions in Chrome to see if it helps with the google Analytics visits showing.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @mjaitly123,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
