• Many times i receive a warming, about somebody opening my site fro some region or city far away from mine. I know geolocalization do not work 100% fine . But if my IP is my Ip, is not possible to avoid such wrong warmings by writing somewhere the administrators IP?

    regards

I’m not sure I understand the issue you’re experiencing.

    Could you please clarify?

Some times, I receive a message if the administrator open the site: [Wordfence Alert] example.com Admin Login.

That is because the configuration of Alert configurations: Alert me when someone with administrator access signs in

I use to be scare the most of the times and I do review the message, just in case. Always is me or my people. Nice. But the warming say a localization that is not my house. That scary me.

As the localization use to be wrong, is not possible to write something like: IP correct? if the IP is the same as always or a defined administatotr IP.

That would decrease my anxiety as I never remember my IP.

    Hi @colomet,

    Sorry about the delayed response.

Can you confirm which value you selected for the “How does Wordfence get IPs” feature?

Is the “Scan for misconfigured How does Wordfence get IPs” option enabled?
