IP range is not working in Version: 1.2.7.5 and WP 4.7

  • The latest updated,Version: 1.2.7.5, broke IP range settings in User Access Manager. Access to the content by user role is still working. Although when I add IP address it is ignored and does not allow posts set with this access to load.

    I have attempted to remove and reinstall the plugin, but that did not help.

  • I am also experiencing this issue. When attempting to access a page as a member of the IP range based group I receive the error “Sorry you have no rights to view this page!”. This is the functionality that I use UAM for so I hope there is a workaround soon.

    I am still experiencing this error on WP 4.7 and UAM 1.2.7.5.

    I am unable to allow non-logged-in user group members with IP Range x.x.x.x to access content with an IP Range set to x.x.x.x.

    I even tried creating a new user group, with the same settings – with no success.

    Please try version 1.2.7.6 I released it 20 minutes ago.

    Perfect. It was slow to show up on WordPress. 1.2.7.6 resolved the issue. Thank you very much.

    I just updated to Version 1.2.13 and I am now experiencing this issue again.

    I can not load a page that is assigned to a group and at the IP range in that group.

    Can you take a look it again?

    Hm I didn’t changed the access logic since that. Could you please double check maybe in a different browser?

    I’ve double and triple checked several browsers and cleared the cache. It is not working. I didn’t change anything on the page or any settings on in UAM. I only updated.

    It is happening on both my staging and production server.

    FYI. I’ve tested it on several computers at our IP and was not able to to get it to work.

    Any help you can give me would be fantastic!

    Yeah I fixed the issue but I’m not able to commit the new version due a really stupid commit hook of WordPress. Bad enough the still using svn instead of git, now the blocking the commit from a rebase, really I’m pissed (sorry not you problem).
