iPad: can’t drag ‘n drop images
-
I’ve been trying out several plugin Media Library managers that let you create virtual folders to organize images. Up until a few days ago, I’ve been able to create folders then tap Bulk Select, then tap different images to select them, and drag them to the target folder in the plugin’s left column. Easy peasy.
However, on Saturday I found that I could no longer drag images to folders.
I’ve gone through a number of troubleshooting steps to try to isolate the problem: deleting and reinstalling the plugin, deactivating all plugins except the library manager, restoring from a recent Backup Guard backup. I even uninstalled another site that I use for trialing things and reinstalled the base WP stuff, then downloaded the library manager, and the result was the same.
This problem wasn’t isolated to a single plugin, but rather to all four that I installed. These are free versions available from the WP Plugins “Add New” list, so presumably they are okay by wp.org. All four DID work late last week. No change in my iPad’s settings.
Device: iPad Air 3 running iOS 14.2 (my primary computer)
Wordpress: 5.5.3I’d be really grateful for any further troubleshooting suggestions, or any general advice.
Thank you all!
