ipb and wordpress

  • Thanks for looking,
    theirs a few things id like help with:

    1.) Displaying the lastest topics in my WordPress sidebar that users can click and go straight to the post.

    2.) Displaying the lastest gallery images in my wordpress sidebar much like with FlickrRSS

    3.) Intergrate the IPB and WordPress DB so that when a user comments they login and then their avatar is displayed etc.

    p.s –> would something like ip.converge be best for the 3rd thing, and if so any api’s available and help with installing it? thanks again.

  • You may want to take a few minutes and discover the large number of Plugins that exist for wordpress. I know #1 can be solved with a number of different plugins. #2 depends on what type of gallery you’re discussing. If by IPB you mean Invision, there’s been a number of discussions on the topic in the past.
