iPhone Safari: Menu re-order does not work

  • On an iPhone Safari, I am unable to drag/re-order menus to what I want.
    Every time I drag a menu to any location or order, it goes to a wrong place, at the bottom of the menu list most of the time, and page scrolls to the bottom on its own.

    WordPress’ native menu management does not seem to work on mobile Safari.
    Please help.

    Mobile compatibility is theme-dependent.

    Please identify exactly which theme you are using and then post in that theme’s dedicated forum so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    @t-p – Sorry, I should have clarified. This is on the WordPress Admin Area’s Menu. This is for WordPress’ native menu management or the one on /wp-admin/nav-menus.php so this is not related to theme.

    Just to add more info as we did more testing to this…

    This is NOT related to the theme.
    We tested on different sites using totally different themes, and the issue is still the same.
    Issue is a native WordPress issue.

    Although it is unusual for WordPress users to manage and re-arrange their menus on a mobile device, but I think this issue should still be fixed as more and more people are doing everything on mobile now.

    i also have the same issue. drag and drop of menus in wp-admin does not work correctly on iphone safari.
