    Hello Team,

My website is currently using the following:

    • Astra Theme
    • Elementor Page Builder

The site is generally mobile responsive. But, loading on Safari — the site suffers from side sway. This is when users are able to sway the site from side-to-side by scrolling horizontally.

    Upon further investigation:

    • Behaviour is only replicatable in Safari Browser (mobile)
    • In Safari Browser, if you pinch the screen to zoom out — the side sway issue disappears
Note: It seems that the site was loaded, and Safari was automatically pinched-in (to zoom)

Does anyone have a similar issue, and what are the workaround to prevent the side-sway from occurring.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Edit:

Apologies — the description in the ticket is inaccurate. You can replicate it in Chrome as well.

You can even replicate it in browser dev tools, but I’m unable to find the style that results in the behaviour

Upon further investigation, am unable to find the style that results in this behaviour:

    Hi @bsfherman,

Sorry for the late reply — wanted to share that the document you shared resolve the issue. It was exactly what it stated — widgets overflowing.

Once we set overflow to hidden, for widgets that are overflowing, it resolves the horizontal scrolling issue.

    Thank you!

    Happy can be a help!

Feel free to start a new thread if there’s anything else related to Astra, we can help you with.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
