• About a month ago, we migrated our website to a new hosting provider. Around the same time, we stopped receiving IPN notifications. We consistently get the email from WordPress saying that someone purchased something, and we see the payment entry in the PayPal IPN section of our dashboard. But…. we never get an email. This is consistent behavior.

When we migrated, everything else came over with no problem.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,
You probably have already done it but if not, check in Settings > PayPal IPN > PayPal IPN Primary URL.
It must match your domain name and must also be declared in your PayPal dashboard > Settings > Sales > Instant payment notifications

Yep. Checked that, and they’re the same.

    Very mysterious.

@hankinscarol I am a bit confused , where you are not getting any notifications? In your WordPress IPN? PayPal or where? And what gateway you are using? Is that standard PayPal or is it our PayPal for woocommerce plugin?

I have purchased Real Places theme in which Paypal IPN plugin suggested to add this plugin. But this plugin not shows any response. I have entered PaypalIPN but still nothing happened.
When any registered user click on “Paynow” button after adding property on my website it shows error. “Paynow” button is visible on my properties page of registered user.
    Then there is error link

    https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/shoppingcart/error?flowlogging_id=99205787294b7&code=AMOUNT_ERROR&mfid=1533712474041_99205787294b7

Hi @puja86, Can you tell me which PayPal plugin you are using? I doubt you are using Standard PayPal may be? or hosted buttons? Also, did you placed the IPN URL into your PayPal Merchant account settings?

The error simple means something is not right either with your account, or the API details or the Payment gateway you are using. As long as the configurations are in-place you will get all the notifications right into your wp dashbaord.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
    Thanks!
