    On new image uploads, The IPTC data gets stripped out of the image on resize requiring me to manually add the Title, description, etc. Is there a way to get this data stored into the wordpress database before the resize happens?

    Not with Imsanity, as it resizes before the metadata is poplulated in the database. The latest version of EWWW Image Optimizer can do that though (just released yesterday).
