IPTC fields from images deleted (copyright etc.)

When I use PhastPress and enable optimize in tags (the plugin creates a webp image for modern browsers which is good) but all IPTC data stored in the images are deleted. Is there a possibility to use this option and webp without deleting the important information about copyright and description inside the image file?
