IPTC/EXIF Data Removal Issue

  • I just installed the plugin, great stuff!

    I noticed though that the plugin deletes all IPTC/EXIF Data from an image when it adds the watermark.

    This is not good because I have added copyright notices into the IPTC/EXIF Data of my images and now it isn’t there anymore.

    For some reason I noticed that it doesn’t do it on the image types/sizes which I don’t have it add watermarks on.

    Can this issue be addressed and fixed?

    We’re aware of that and this is in the to-do list for IW. Should be fixed in one of the future updates.

    It hasn’t been fixed in recent release but it’s on our to-do list.
