I wonder if you can help me.
I have connected my WooCommerce website to Royal Mail Click and Drop via the REST API. Up until now all works as expected and the customer’s address is passed correctly. However, lately I have had a lot more orders to the Republic of Ireland and unfortunately, the county codes are being passed as ISO codes and not as the actual county name. One example being Dublin, which is being passed as D.

This issue has caused a few order labels to be printed incorrectly and as such I have reached out to Royal Mail who have indicated that the issue is how the data is being fed to them.

Can you advise how I can ensure the county names are passed correctly?

    Hey there!

Since we don’t make the integration on our end (the API is sending the data that is in your WooCommerce orders, which is the county names), we don’t have any kind of access or ability to change how Royal Mail is handling the data that it receives. It’s unfortunate that they sent you over here, but we do not have a way of changing the data that they are processing on our end.

    Thank you @slash1andy
I am going to reach back to Royal Mail.
