Hi, I am starting to use this plugin and I want to have 1 language option beside English, and when I go to setting and try to add Irish as the 2nd language it is not on the drop down list. Can I set it up some other way?

    thanks,Breda

    Hi @bredamcguigan,

We pull all the languages from www.ads-software.com that have a complete WordPress installation available. If you check this list here: WordPress Polyglots Teams, you’ll notice that the Irish language doesn’t currently have a complete WordPress version available.

If a language isn’t included in our plugin, you can still add it manually by creating a custom language in TranslatePress. To do this, navigate to TP Settings → Advanced tab and use the Custom Language section. You can find detailed instructions in our documentation here: Add Custom Language.

To enable automatic translation for Irish, simply enter ‘ga’ in the “ISO Code” field when adding Irish as a custom language.
