Is 0.9.7-dev a stable release?

    Yes, 0.9.7 is stable (as stable as the other releases). I just missed updating one comment — WP’s way of releasing updates is very poorly designed, so packaging mishaps are unfortunately common. I’ll push out 0.9.7.1 here shortly and fix the comment there.

    I get nervous twitches when someone says “WordPress” and “Production Site” in the same sentence… WP is not a professional platform in most cases (imo) — it lacks too many features and its code base is too messy.
