I’m anxious to see what 3.2 has to offer. Have the major bugs been ironed-out – and is it safe to run on a small production site?

RC1 should be out in a week or so. If you’re not comfortable at all running cutting edge, just wait. I’m using it now and it’s fine.

I don’t know of any critical bugs we haven’t addressed. 3.2 has been stable for most of the development cycle, so if you know what you’re doing, you might want to try it. But please, only if you know what you’re doing.

I have been running it now since b1 and haven’t found any issues. I installed right after it was released. I’m new to WP so I figured I might as well start with the latest version. I do check for updates almost every night and am using it with a child theme so it’s a little harder for any updates to break something.

100% stable here on five sites with sem-high traffic volume. Noticeable difference in load compared to earlier versions.

    Bergholt: Difference in which direction?

@andrew — Faster and lower load on the servers.

Great to hear. If you have any numbers, data points, or other bits of data, we’d love to see the results.

I’m running RC1 on my line site without trouble so far editing, images or display. One curious side-effect is when I add a link, it takes two clicks on the “OK” to dismiss the requester.
