Is Akismet anti-spam compatible with the REST API?

  • Hey there!

    I’m one of the creators of Frontity, a React framework to build sites using WordPress as a Headless CMS and decoupled React frontends connected via the REST API.

    The frontend retrieves all the information using the REST API, and we will implement comments. We are wondering if this plugin will still work with comments inserted via the REST API.
