Is an Endhook Only Required?
-
Hi there
This is a question rather than a plugin issue. To accept payments I have these plugins installed:
– Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce
– WooCommerce
– WooCommerce PaymentsI have these payment methods activated:
– Credit and debit cards (WooCommerce)
– Direct Bank Transfer (WooCommerce)
– Credit/debit cards (Stripe)
– Afterpay (Stripe)I’ve tested the website for awhile. Everything has worked how I believe it should (order notifications in Woo + Stripe test payments appear in Stripe Account).
I was all set to flick the switch from test to live payments when I found YouTube videos about Stripe, Woo, webhooks and endpoints. Stripe were really helpful, as well as the documentation for this plugin, which has helped. BUT … this is all new to me and confusing.
My questions are:
– If everything works in test mode, do I require anymore webhooks?
– Do I just need an endpoint? And then can I flick the switch for payments and go from test to live?PS: I’m not a developer or coder.
Thank you in advance.
