    Hi there

This is a question rather than a plugin issue. To accept payments I have these plugins installed:
    – Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce
    – WooCommerce
    – WooCommerce Payments

I have these payment methods activated:
    – Credit and debit cards (WooCommerce)
    – Direct Bank Transfer (WooCommerce)
    – Credit/debit cards (Stripe)
    – Afterpay (Stripe)

I’ve tested the website for awhile. Everything has worked how I believe it should (order notifications in Woo + Stripe test payments appear in Stripe Account).

I was all set to flick the switch from test to live payments when I found YouTube videos about Stripe, Woo, webhooks and endpoints. Stripe were really helpful, as well as the documentation for this plugin, which has helped. BUT … this is all new to me and confusing.

    My questions are:
    – If everything works in test mode, do I require anymore webhooks?
    – Do I just need an endpoint? And then can I flick the switch for payments and go from test to live?

PS: I’m not a developer or coder.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @alannahjordan

You don’t need WooCommerce Payments and our plugin Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce installed at the same time. They are both designed to process payments via Stripe on your site.

    – If everything works in test mode, do I require anymore webhooks?

You aren’t using any payment methods that require webhooks. Our plugin automatically creates your production webhook when you use the Connect to Stripe feature.

Do I just need an endpoint? And then can I flick the switch for payments and go from test to live?

When you go through the Connect to Stripe process, our plugin generates your webhook for you, so it’s all automated. You don’t need to manually configure your webhook.

    Hi Mr Clayton

Thank you for your response and for clarifying things. No wonder I couldn’t remember creating the webhooks when the Stripe team asked me – as your amazing plugin automates them.

I enabled WooCommerce Payments for customers paying Cash on Delivery and Bank Deposits. I disabled credit cards using Woo, so customers can only select payment by credit card using Stripe.

Having the ability to accept AfterPay using this plugin is a gamechanger in my view.

    Kind regards
