    Hi

There is new instructions about how/when to use cookies in Finland. The instructions also says, that it applies to other tracking techniques not limited to cookies. Such techniques are:
    – HTML5 session storage and local storage (usually implemented with JavaScript)
    – Follow-up pixels, web beacons, and tags (typicly an image in a website/email which send user info to server when downloaded)
    – Recognizing the user based on fingerprinting (for example with Android Advertising ID or Apple Identifier for advertisers IDFA)

So, my question is, is any of those methods used to track users in Koko Analytics if cookies is set off?

    Hi,

Koko doesn’t use any such method, when you turn off cookies we do not track returning users at all and only count total visits.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!
