If you are hosted at JustHost.com and have Hyper Cache or indeed any other plugin working, I do request you to urgently respond.

Since around July last year Hyper Cache and ALL other caching plugins no longer work, whatever the configuration, even on a fresh WordPress installation with only ONE plugin enabled.

Before settling for Hyper Cache for one of the 2 sites, I tested Total Cache & Super Cache & all worked. For the other site I chose Super Cache & all worked well for over a year, before for no apparent reason ceasing to work.

I request you to read the details here => https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/is-anyone-hosted-at-justhost-got-super-cache-working-at-all?replies=1 and let me if it works in your case.

It is not possible to get any helpful information from their support which rubbishes any suggestion the problem might be with their server settings preventing WP CACHING plugins working at all, whatever the plugin.

On other sites mentioned in the above article & hosted elsewhere at named hosts, caching works right away with the same plugins.

    Thank you in advance

Hi, I have Hyper Cache working with Justhost servers.

One question do you have the following added to your wp-config.php file?

    define(‘Wp_Cache’, true); after define(‘WPLANG’, ”); )

    Hi there

Thank you very much for responding.
I checked and actually the production site where caching with Hyper cache worked but then abruptly ceased sometime around end of July last year had this in correct order.
I discovered this accidentally when I noted caching had inexplicably
ceased working on a site sharing the same account, but using Super Cache. So after cracking my head over this for while, with no positive result, and crosschecked, I found Hyper cache was also not working. I never at the time or since then changed any settings, but just deactivated the apparently useless plugin.

As said before, whereas other caching modules worked at that time as well, now none, including Super cache & Total cache work at all.

I must add Super Cache, which I have installed elsewhere/different sites & web hosts many times, without exception can be proven to be caching within a minute of installation, using default settings. It used to be the case before, now – NOT.

    I just set up a temporary virgin site at bit.ly/1VGgB7c & only installed one plugin => Hyper cache & enabled it, also making sure define(‘Wp_Cache’, true); is placed in the right after define(‘WPLANG’, ”);

A couple of re-loads in another browser later, no sign of caching. It would be something new, if you test that page, if it would be working.

The question then is: is your site on the same server as mine, with similar configuration?

Something just does not make sense here, if no caching works with just one caching plugin enabled, none other installed on a virgin WordPress installation. No one can say some other plugin is interferring.

Is it possible to contact you privately, so you just have a look at this virgin WordPress installation & the production site, just in case I am getting something obvious very wrong?

I have no problem with any other plugin.

    Thank you in advance
