I would like editors and possibly authors to be able to post new notification entries, but it seems that only administrators can access it. Is this correct? Is there an option to open up access? If so, this will be a useful plugin for our purposes.

By the way, I wanted to mention that wp_make_link_relative does not seem to work on our intranet site. I’m not familiar with preg, but I think all the dots in the IP address were screwing it up (part of the path was duplicated). I removed the function from define.php (so as to use the complete urls) and everything worked fine.

    Hi,

Just put in a limited access control in the development version. Please check it out and let me know if this is suitable for you.

It should take care of all the roles available if you are using role scoper or custom roles.

Not sure what is happening with the paths on your site, i tested several scenarios and the paths should work ok everywhere.

What is the WP version you are using ?

Use the development version here to test out the access control. You find the roles settings in the settings menu of the plugin (which is only available to administrators)

Thanks – that was fast! I’ll upgrade and see how it works. I think our call center supervisors will really appreciate this plugin.
