Is AutoMeta a good choice?

    I’m thinking about installing AutoMeta, to generate tags for my blog posts. Can anyone give me feedback on the plugin?

    Or should I consider a different tag plugin?

    If I use AutoMeta, and I’m already signed in at the Technorati site, does that effect anything?

    On the opening page of the AutoMeta site

    they say this:

    “This plugin will automatically generate and include HTML Meta Tags and Technorati Tags based on the full text of your post.”

    I want my posts to be visible to Google, so that if I do a search Google and other search engines will find me. Will AutoMeta help do that? Or am I barking up the wrong plugin-tree?

    Moshu is correct in saying they are different things: AutoMeta does both. If you want your tags to be effective for search engines, don’t forget to hand-finish them.
