Is Buddypress in your future

First off thanks for great simple way to get content from a WordPress install into the fediverse it solves myriad problems.
Second I hope as the next version of BuddyPress is being developed some hooks to connect the two are being considered. It seems to me this would propel BuddyPress firmly into the future.
