– is changed by – in products title

    Hello,

    Could you help me,

    I have products (a lot) that have a – in the title.
    On the wordpress it is displayed well but when it’s synced in the facebook catalog produts the – is displayed as –
    other special caracters as à, ? are working nice.

    It’s not looking very nice for make publicity on those products.

    Have you an idea to resolve this?

    I am using Facebook for WooCommerce version Version 2.2.0
    Woocommerce Version 4.6.1

    Hi @tcrpic,

    I apologize for the delay in responding to you. We have a backlog of posts here at the moment and are working hard to catch up.

    I’m not sure which special character you mean, because when your question posted here, it showed up like this:

    the – is displayed as –

    Which character is supposed to be displayed? If you know the Unicode for it, that may help.

    Also, do you happen to know the encoding for your site and database? It may have something to do with why that’s not coming through properly.
