Is Content Analysis broken?
-
I wrote a post this morning with “Black & Decker Easy 8-Cup coffeemaker” as the focus keyword. I included that focus keyword in the very first sentence. The post’s permalink is “black-decker-easy-8-cup-coffeemaker”. That focus keyword appears four times in the body of the post. The post contains two different images. Both have the focus keyword as the ALT tag.
When I look at Content Analysis, it shows a red dot for:
- The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.
- The keyword density is 0%, which is a bit low; the focus keyword was found 0 times.
It shows an orange dot for:
- The images on this page do not have alt tags containing your focus keyword.
- The focus keyword does not appear in the URL for this page. If you decide to rename the URL be sure to check the old URL 301 redirects to the new one!
This just doesn’t make sense.
