Is cookie duration extended?

    I was wondering if the cookie duration is extended every time a customer enters the site via the affiliate special link? That would enable an affiliate to extend commission duration.

    Hey @mikey2222,

    Thank you for reaching out! Nope, the duration isn’t extended.

    Once the visit is registered, the cookie is set to expire based on the duration you’ve set in the plugin’s settings. Revisiting the site while the cookie is active will not prolong its expiration date.

    Once the cookie expires thought, if the visitor enters the site via the affiliate referral link, a new cookie will be set.

    I’m guessing this is how you would like the system to work. However, if this isn’t the flow you were looking for, please let me know.
