    uploaded archive and installer file to a new blank subdirectory on a development site. Ran installer and everything seemed to go fine. I can access the front end of the site but trying to login to WP gives me the

    exampledom.com is currently unable to handle this request.

    The install was done to exampledom.com/david1

    Evidently it’s a plugin (not sure which one yet). I renamed the plugins folder and then tried to login again and was able to access back end.

    Resolved: Development site had an old (incompatible) copy of PHP running. Updated that and now can access back end with plugins enabled.
