is eCampaign php5.3 compatible?

  • I need to move my hosting from php5.2, where ecampaign is working flawlessly, to 5.3. I am testing by installing eCampaign on a hosting account that is already on 5.3. I am getting the following error:

    Error: Field campaignEmail not specified. This error has been logged! Sorry.

    I have this address stated both in the settings and manually as a parameter of the shortcode.

    Is this a 5.3 incompatibility, or another issue?

    I’m using it with HP 5.3 without problem.

    If you are using the standard template(s), can you see “Please contact {campaignEmail} if you have any difficulties or queries.” and does {campaignEmail} get substituted correctly with the email address you set up?

    Thank you so much for replying. We really depend on this plugin so much and we appreciate your making it available. Yes, the manually overridden campaignEmail was displaying on the form (I should have thought of that).

    I’m not sure what the problem was, but I implemented securimage on the test server and now the form is functioning correctly. I am thrilled that this will work on newer versions of php since I really need to upgrade the sites.
