Is is possible for only certain products to trigger membership?

    Hi,

    I am using woocommerce with Simple Membership. I have recently added online quizzes to my website. Previous to this, I was only selling digital downloads and physical products. Now that I have added the online quizzes I want to be able to offer membership for just the quizzes. I don’t want to trigger membership to my site when customers purchase digital downloads or products I need to post out to them.

    Is this possible? I have noticed that since I activiated simple membership people purchasing digital and pysical products are being added as FREE members. I have the membership set to NONE on these products so I am unsure why this is happening.

    I would be grateful for any advice.

    I am using SWMP woocommerce add on as woocommerce is what I use on the rest of the site.

    This means there is no need for a subscription button. I set up my products as I would within woocommerce. There is an option within the woocommerce products to choose which level of membership you wish the product to have. I have set this to ‘none’ for all digital and printed products. I have removed the free option from my membership levels and have purchased a non membership product. It now seems to be working as my email address has not been added to the list of members but I won’t know for sure until a few other people make purchases.
